Live The Purpose!
Although the 40 days of Community Campaign draws to a triumphant finish, Let us not lose our commitment to live out God's purpose in our lives, our church and in our community. If your small group has connected in a special way, keep on meeting! If your small group signed up to serve in a mission, keep going! This Campaign will only have true impact if TOGETHER we continue to commit our focus on Jesus's power to change us, our church and our community.
Growing Together
Bible Memory
“Now, my God, may your eyes be open and your ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place,”
2 Chronicles 6: 40 (NIV)
Pray that we will encourage one another toward lifelong spiritual habits that grow our faith. In particular, ask God to stir in our church a commitment to Scripture memorization, that we would know the value of hiding God’s Word in our heart to help us in making decisions, comforting others, praising God, and sharing the gospel im our community.
This week, pray with your children that their friends will choose daily to follow Jesus!
Serving Better Together
Hopefully your small group is reaching out together and helping in our local missions project. This is going to strengthen your sense of community with each other, and make a wonderful difference in our area. NEXT WEEK, we’ll take a closer look at why God has called us to “serve one another”.
Remember, together IS better
Belonging Together
How was your first week of learning what matters most to God? Hopefully you’ve begun to use the Better Together workbook. And by now, all of you should be in a 40 Days of Community small group, where you are experiencing some great fellowship. If not, it’s not too late to join! See the list on the notice broad showing all the groups that started up this week, and arrange with the leadership team to place you in a group. Remember, we are better together! NEXT WEEK we’ll take a closer look at what it means to belong to a church family. Come back to hear God’s truths on how a church family loves, trusts, hopes and perseveres to live in unity with one another.
